1 EXTRA LARGE Duckweed Portion (Lemna minor) - 250+ Floating Pods - Live Aquarium Plant by Aquatic

Live plants have many agricultural uses, such as removing waste and excess nutrients from hydroponic systems, fighting algae and bacterial growth in farm ponds, and keeping educational aquariums clean. Duckweed, also known as water lens, is a fast-growing floating plant. The leaves (or fronds) are very small and vibrant light green in color. They grow in dense colonies and provide hiding places for small invertebrates and fish. Duckweed is easy to grow and is fine with low-light setups, although more light means faster and denser growth. It grows by absorbing waste including ammonia and nitrates from the water, which means less pollutants causing smelly or cloudy water and happier fish/invertebrates! This portion comes with 250 or more pods, and is grown by me right here in the USA, not illegally imported/etc.

  • 5 LARGE (1/2-2+ inches) Japanese Trapdoor Snails (Viviparus malleattus) - Live Snails by Aquatic Arts (Pond Fish Formerly) BUY NOW

5 LARGE (1/2-2+ inches) Japanese Trapdoor Snails (Viviparus malleattus) - Live Snails by Aquatic

Japanese Trapdoor Snails are named for their operculum, which is a tough plate that protects the snail by forming a seal at the edge of the snail's shell when its soft body is retracted inside. They are also known by the name Chinese Mystery Snails. They are large for freshwater snails, and are quite unusual-looking yet attractive. They vary in coloration and patterns, but usually have more natural-looking colors such as brown and green. They also serve some very useful purposes. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Trapdoor Snails are quite large as adults, growing up to 2" in size. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.0 - Temperature range: 68 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Bee Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: With trapdoor snails, it's a good idea to make sure the water line in your aquarium isn't too high, a...

3 Live Assassin Snails (Clea helena - 1/2 to 1 Inch) - Removes All Pest Snails! by Aquatic

Assassin snails are one of the most useful animals in the aquarium hobby. I came across them when I had snail infested tanks, but did not want to use harsh chemicals to kill the snails. I have had 30 gallon tanks that were totally overrun with unwanted MTS Snails, and my 5 "Assassins" dealt with over 100 of them within a couple weeks using no chemicals. They are a very attractive color as well. Because of the black and yellow striping, they look fantastic on both light and dark colored substrates. Assassin snails grow to about 2" long. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 7.5 - Temperature range: 68 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), and small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish (such as danios, guppies, etc.). They eat all other types of snails that are their size or smaller, but they will usually not harm snails that are larger (such as Mystery snails, Giant Sulawesi snails, larger Nerite snails). However, if you have multiple assassin snails, they may gang up on a larger snail and cause harm. - Additional notes: Having good substrate is important with Assassin Snails, as they love to burrow in it. 5 Live Assassin Snails (Clea helena - 1/2 to 1 Inch) - Removes All Pest Snails! by Aquatic

Assassin snails are one of the most useful animals in the aquarium hobby. I came across them when I had snail infested tanks, but did not want to use harsh chemicals to kill the snails. Five assassin snails will destroy a pest snail population very quickly. We have had 30 gallon tanks that were totally overrun with unwanted MTS Snails, and five "assassins" dealt with over 100 of them within a week. These snails have a very attractive coloration as well. Because of the black-and-yellow striping, they look fantastic on both light and dark-colored substrates. Assassin snails grow to about 2" long when fully grown. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 7.5 - Temperature range: 68 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), and small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. They eat all other types of snails that are their size or smaller, but they will not harm snails that are larger (such as Mystery snails, Giant Sulawesi snails, larger Nerite snails). However, a group of assassin snails may gang up on a larger snail and cause it harm. - Additional notes: Having good substrate is important with Assassin Snails, as they l...

1 Tiger Nerite Snail (Neritina natalensis - 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter) - Live Snail by Aquatic

These eye-catching snails are quite unlike anything else we've ever seen. Their stunning colors and pattern are sure to make any aquarium a true showpiece. Additionally, they also serve some very useful purposes, as all Nerite Snails do. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color. Nerite snails are widely believed to be the single best snail in the aquarium hobby for eating algae. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Nerite snails require salt water to reproduce, so they will never overpopulate your aquarium (as some freshwater snails are known to do). Tiger nerite snails range from 1/2 to 1 inch in size. They usually will remain around 1 inch throughout their lifespan, but the occasional snail will reach 1 1/2 inches! They do not eat plants (only algae), so they are perfectly suitable for planted tanks. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (other Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow ...

5 Live Freshwater Blue Velvet Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi - 1/4 to 1 inch Breeding Age Adults!) by Aquatic

Blue Velvet Shrimp are a rare and colorful addition to any freshwater aquarium! Care is the same as Red Cherry Shrimp and they are just as prolific, but these are a striking cerulean blue color. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - pH level range: 6.5 to 7.5 - Temperature range: 72 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft or hard, as long as it remains stable - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, Amano Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for - similar to other dwarf shrimp species. Dwarf shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow hygro, green cabomba, etc.). This is because dwarf shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.
